FAQ

What families ask about the camp.

The honest answers, before you tick a box.

What age range is the summer camp for?
Teenagers aged 12 to 17. The group is internationally mixed, with participants from several European countries. We make sure that younger and older participants each have their own contact people and age-appropriate activities.
How good does my English have to be?
School English at A2 level or above is enough. Confidence comes during the camp, you'll be surprised how fast. If your child speaks no English at all, we would honestly advise against the camp alone and suggest a preparatory program first.
Where do the kids stay, host family or camp accommodation?
With a vetted host family in Vero Beach, usually together with at least one other camp participant. Daytime activities are in the group, evenings are real American family life. Background checks, home visits and personal interviews are standard, for every family.
What does the summer camp cost and what is included?
Two to four weeks from $3,900. The price includes the host family with full board, the daily camp program (sports, English activities, beach), local supervision and insurance. Not included: flight, personal pocket money and certain optional excursions (see next question).
Are the major excursions, Disney, Kennedy Space Center, swimming with dolphins, included?
The weekly standard excursions are included. The premium experiences like Disney World, Kennedy Space Center or Swim with Dolphins are booked separately on site, depending on what your child wants to do. That way no one pays for something they don't want, and no one is excluded because they do.
